Se prendete tutte le sagome create da Landyachtz, le mettete in una stanza romantica e aspettate nove mesi, il figlio che ne verrebbe fuori sarebbe il più dolce e adorabile possibile e si chiamerebbe Drop Carve.
Si tratta di uno skate veramente tuttofare, adatto a tutte le discipline del longboarding, incluso il downhill più estremo. È reattivo e ha un flex molto brillante grazie alla struttura composta da tre strati di bambù chiusi a sandwich in mezzo a quelli più esterni in vetroresina e precurvati, tipici delle loro tavole più pregiate. Questa è la versione classica che monta una combinazione di parti Bear e ruote della Hawgs.
Ultimo ma non meno importante, sono le grafiche così belle da ispirare ammirazione che rendono omaggio agli originali longboard da surf.

Landyachtz s'impegna a produrre tavole in maniera sostenibile. Ecco perché, per ogni tavola venduta, viene piantato un albero.

Can't really say I loved it, much as I'd like to be able to. Landyachtz can make some very good boards for cheap, that's true, but drop carve just didn't feel very good. Admittedly I was still a super beginner when I first got, still couldn't develop or maintain a decent speed even after some practice. Admittedly it was quite stable, but at the kinds of speed it would go up to, almost any board would be stable. Maybe if it was fitted with larger and slightly harder wheels it could work better? Still, it was decent enough I suppose, allowed me to learn the basics of longboarding and I guess that's what I wanted from it when buying it | |

Lækkert board. Jeg havde et lignenede board på 40" i længde fra Naked "Hawaii Surf Longboard", som jeg sled op. Det knækkede. Jeg tænkte at jeg ville prøve den korte versition på 37" for at få lidt skarpere drej, og gør det lidt nemmere at lave nogle freestyle tricks. I forhold til boarded fra Naked så er Landyachtz Drop Carve mere stift, hvilket jeg syntes lidt bedre om. Det følest som om at boarded reagerer lidt hurtigere på mine input. Er godt tilfreds. | |
